Upcoming 2024 Spring/Summer Treatments

To protect commercial citrus groves in the fight against the Asian citrus psyllid (ACP) and the disease it can spread, Huanglongbing (HLB), upcoming spring and summer area wide treatment windows have been established for several counties across the state.

By working together, growing regions can coordinate treatments to help control ACP populations more effectively, which is critical to prevent the spread of HLB from impacting commercial citrus groves. Growers are encouraged to actively engage with their local pest control district, pest management area or grower liaison and participate in local, coordinated treatments. Treatment schedules by region can be found on CitrusInsider.org.

For more information on ACP treatments and effective materials, see the University of California’s IPM Pest Management Guidelines for Asian Citrus Psyllid or connect with your local grower liaison.

If you suspect ACP or HLB in your grove, please notify the California Department of Food and Agriculture Pest Hotline at 1-800-491-1899.
